A live jazz session recording in my hometown Auckland, New Zealand.
I’m so honored to have worked with some of New Zealand’s best talent before leaving the shores headed for the United States. Being able to play and record with my father, Drummer Tony Hopkins before he passed, was such a blessing. This is a very special recording and one that I will always cherish.
Together we recorded a few jazz standards with some well known NZ musicians and am excited to make them available now for download.
